In May of 2008, Patrick Scullin was in New Orleans. He had a bellyful of Abita beer (ummm, beer) and the name The Lint Screen popped into his head.

The Lint Screen would be a corner of the internet–– a blogateria serving an eclectic stew of writings… where Scullin’s thoughts are collected like the lint from clothes in a dryer and readers’ eyes are the Bounce sheets that come and clean it.

Was the name divine intervention or just some spooky twist of voodoo fate? The jury’s still out. Enjoy.
